Facilitator & Life Coach
Josh is a therapist, life coach, and positive psychology facilitator. Educated in Cork he has a degree in Applied Psychology, as well as a Masters in Applied Coaching Psychology, both from UCC. His undergraduate thesis, which focused on the barriers young individuals faced in seeking psychological support, was selected for presentation at the Psychological Society of Ireland’s annual conference in 2016, as well as the annual European Congress of Psychology in 2017. His master’s studies focused on training individuals to facilitate well-being and flourishing of others. One of his primary focuses is that of Mastery, helping individuals through workshops and one to one sessions to develop a greater understanding of ways in which they can develop willpower and resilience. Another focus of his is that of self-understanding. He utilizes psychometrics and personality typology (MBTI) to help explore hidden strengths and areas for growth of individuals to help them to capitalize on reserves and opportunities they may otherwise have not known they had, as well as making the most of the strengths they already draw on.
